What it is.
This 60-75 min private session is a great first step to beginning a prenatal or postpartum fitness journey quickly. In this initial session held at the Strong Mom Studio, we evaluate posture, alignment, muscle recruitment and assesses common tendencies that may affect exercise progression. It helps us determine which program or membership is the best fit for your individual needs so you can get started right away. You are welcome to bring your baby or childen to this session if that is what allows you to make it happen!

Who it's for.
This session is for new clients who want to get started at the studio and learn the basics. Potential new clients who haven’t done a Community Class, want more 1:1 attention than a Community Class allows, or haven’t completed Diapers to Dumbbells would choose this option. It’s also the best option for moms or soon-to-be moms who want more scheduling flexibility in getting started at the studio, or any new client wanting 1:1 personal training. This option has also been used for new or expecting moms who would like to continue with their regular personal trainer or studio (Crossfit, Orange Theory, Barre) but need to learn what to focus on from a Pregnancy & Postpartum Coach prior to starting back.

What is covered.
All the foundational work that is required for successful prenatal or postpartum return to exercise makes up this session. This includes coordinated and effective breathing, connecting to your deep core and pelvic floor muscles, proper form for all basic exercises with necessary modifications, and mobility exercises that address any tension or pain points. You will receive an email within 24 hours of the session with a recap as well as homework to continue your progress. The amount you learn in only one session surprises everyone and is money well spent!

What is the cost.
If your session is scheduled with the owner, Krista Williams, the cost is $150. Scheduling with any other Strong Mom Coach is $100. All coaches have specialty training in pregnancy, postpartum, and pelvic health. Please indicate your preference when requesting to schedule this session, however your availability may not allow you to choose. An invoice for payment will be sent at the time the session is scheduled, and must be paid 24 hours prior to the session.
